The CMIC Archives consists of items of traditional and innovative home-grown Celtic musicians and collectors of Nova Scotia's memorabilia. These collections reveal unique features of the music within the context of community and family. As we share information about the past lives of musicians, we also keep company with those who carry on the living tradition of music.

"I recorded a full-length production at CMIC, where there's a continual sense of tradition and just the right vibe between the performers and audiences. That leads to great performances… which is what a live production is all about."

Ashley MacIssac, Musician and Songwriter
