Judique is located along Route 19 (The Ceilidh Trail), on the West coast of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada

Whether you visit for an hour, a day, or a week, don’t miss this key stop along beautiful Route 19.

From Halifax International Airport, Nova Scotia:

Follow the Trans Canada (Highway 104) to the Canso Causeway. Once across the Causeway and over the swing bridge, you will climb a short hill to a rotary. Look for signs for Route 19 and Inverness (the first left turn in the rotary). You will then be on the Ceilidh Trail (Rte.19) and reach Judique in about 20 minutes (17 miles/30 km). The Celtic Music Interpretive Centre is easy to find — it will be on your left, immediately following Wayne’s Variety Convenience Store, across from St. Andrew’s Church and next to the Judique Community Centre.

We have plenty of parking, including oversized vehicle parking and EV stations.

If your on the coastal trail, we are just off to the Judique Flyer Trail (part of Celtic Shores Coastal Trail)

The Celtic Music Centre is a not-for-profit society and a one-of-a-kind facility located in the tiny village of Judique, Cape Breton Island. The mission of the Celtic Music Interpretive Centre is to celebrate and foster the Celtic Music and Heritage of Cape Breton Island as a living tradition, through Archival Preservation, Education and Performance.
